This advanced level camp was specifically designed to enforce and develop player’s individual one on one skills. Camp included puck handling, puck protection, fakes, shooting and many other game skills to help give forwards the edge in One vs. One situations. Forwards and defenseman were trained separately. Defensive skills such as body contact, containment, angling, poke checks, sweep checks, shot blocking, gap control as well as rushing the puck, pinching and transitional play were stressed. We then began our One on One battles! Angling and puck protection are just an example of the game scenarios that were used to test skills for both forward and defense!
